Summer Table: 10 minutes Strawberry Salad

The story behind the picture:

When it's my turn to cook dinner, I endeavour to have something different if I am not drained by the day. So today when I was wandering in the super market and thriving for a quick yet special dinner idea, after few minutes zoning out, I think that 3 bucks a punnet strawberry saved my life today. And I hope this flash-liked recipe will save your life sometimes. 

What to prepare

  • 1 Punnet of strawberries
  • 1 bags of baby spinach
  • 1 small block of feta or ricotta ( I used feta here)
  • Handful of flacked almonds ( Alternatively you can use walnuts, pine nuts, etc)
  • Avocado (optional, 5 bucks each now is a bit too expensive for me)
  • Balsamic vinegar and olive oil for dressing


How to make it

Er...seriously, I think you might guess how to do by just reading down the ingredients...But just in case you really care, I am still going to tell you how I made it. Because I am a nice lady.

Well......I basically just halved the strawberries, chopped the feta, then mixed everything altogether then drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Too easy, I know. 

Anyways, I hope you will really give it a go and then tell me how you like it or how does it save you heaps time staring the shelf.
