I am based in Sydney, but also travel worldwide.
My aim is to be in the moment and capture love stories artfully and intentionally. Preserving emotions & focusing on the mood and feel.
You can check out more about my why here.
These dogs are super enthusiastic about the runners.
Especially when I came back from lovely European countries at this time of the year.
Especially when every one around me is sneezy, and feeling lazy.
Especially when I walk out of office, the sunset no longer stays.
Not just because those sweet end of financial year sales.
Not just because I get to cook more (my favourite)spicy food to stay warm.
Not just because I am not the only one who is always sneezy, and feeling lazy. (Heheh!)
Below are what I have been doing lately in June:)
Staying in the country side with Andrew’s parents. They have great acreage backyard, beautiful pets and gardens, and most importantly, it helped us to stop exeeding our weekly budget.
Where Andrew’s parents from gets foggy in the early morning sometimes. I found it amazing that I couldn’t see anything at the backyard sometimes.
I took so many photos of the frosty branches and just felt so frustrated. Need more researches.
Enjoying last bit of sunshine in the afternoon…
And a couple of glasses of wines are compulsory.
And he loved it! Also the dog….
Eat me eat me eat me!!!!
Here in Sydney normally quite hot in summer. Not the Africa hot, but still we don’t get too much colour in the summer. Just really green, really blue and really bright. And that is sort of a compliment.
The first grape of wines that I learnt was from my bestie Cacia Zoo. She introduced me Malbec when I had not known anything about wine. So if I see some interesting labels of Malbec, I wouldn’t mind investing one. Sometimes, what you love is not just your personal tastes, is what linked you with.
Splurging my dinner budget in the kitchen and super markets.
I somehow really look up the recipes online more often and explore a little bit. I guess the cold wind made me hungry all the time also promotes that drive as well.
They are enormously hot…
I love love Kong Pao Chicken, and it’s something that I made this first time that Andrew kept mentioning it to other people. Somehow, I lost the first recipe I did it the first time, so I won’t share the recipe yet. Till I found the bet one……
Our spoiled girl Kelsa. (Technically Andrew’s parents’)
And her name is Kelsa!
That’s a really catch
Dianne’s garden.
I bought a photography magazine on the way back to Sydney from London. And there’s an article about shooting butterfly, I found it amazing and found a calm one in Di’s garden instantly.
Di wanted me to take a photo of her pansy, so that she can use the photos for her embroideries. Can’t wait to see what she will finish:)
There’s nothing to be more Australian than a Barbecue. And I am serious.
Well, I didn’t receive till I got back from the trip, and sunset is a bit hard in this time of year due to my job. So I just have to play around at the backyard.
Every Taiwanese loves Full Moon Festival.
It’s when you can smell charcoal barbecue in every alley and land literally. And wood fire is just so close to my hometown memories. And my youth, of course.
Persimmon Season. Guys, guys and guys. If you don’t know what it is, please head over to your local markets and peel it and devour it. It’s one of my favourite fruits and I found it surprisingly that so many people don’t know what it is. Luckily I am from somewhere subtropical, and every fruit has equal love over there.
As a practice
Probably because they know you don’t know them:-(
Stay warm guys!
xxx Aka
p.s: Sadly my phone screen was broken during the trip, so I currently couldn’t update my Instagram, but there are still some nice memories out there…..
