I am based in Sydney, but also travel worldwide.
My aim is to be in the moment and capture love stories artfully and intentionally. Preserving emotions & focusing on the mood and feel.
You can check out more about my why here.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to have a quick gateway to Melbourne for a weekend. As I have been to Melbourne several times already, pay a visit to National Gallery of Victoria is always a good idea.(with a baby) This time I had this opportunity to check out this Dutch fashion design duo Victor & Rolf’s exhibition. I have to say it’s one of my favourite fashion exhibitions and truly enjoyed my time there.(taking lots photos and baby didn’t even wake up!)
I am usually not into taking too much photos in an exhibition, just some pieces for decorating the memory land and some for inspirations. And in this exhibition, I did not only enjoy their display and artistic outfits as a viewer but also tried to create some views by photographing their “dolly models”. In a nutshell, you can dig out more details of the show on NGV’s site, and here I hope you do dig those dolly images that I took.
Enjoy your week every one!
Stay artsy,
xxx Aka
It’s all about the perspective, isn’t it?
My favourite “model”
I really love the way they represent their design by creating mini versions of the glories. How clever.
What makes drama dramatic, what makes the path lonely and dull, what makes the expressions reveal. That light, that shadow, and how I adore the feeling of chasing it.
