I am based in Sydney, but also travel worldwide.
My aim is to be in the moment and capture love stories artfully and intentionally. Preserving emotions & focusing on the mood and feel.
You can check out more about my why here.
A while ago, I had this honour to capture Ricky and Sarah’s beautiful wedding in Burnham Grove Estate, NSW. Sarah and Ricky have postponed their wedding last year due to COVID and we were all patiently waiting for this wedding day approaching. When it started to pour on my way to the venue, I did have a gasp myself but it turned out perfect in every way. (Not to mention if their wedding held for a week later, it would get impacted by the NSW flood.)
This wedding was so romantic, relaxed and I had a blast shooting there. First of all, I still remembered when I walked into their room where they were getting ready, Sarah looked just like a move star. Her makeup, her hair and the gown have that 20’s glam and elegance. The room filled with laughters and warmth and every one was just a dream to work with.
The venue manager and her team from Burnham Grove Estate were really welcoming and highly organised. Everything was under their watch and they moved the wedding so quickly to the marque so every one can stay dry. Also. this venue is basically a rustic dream with all the elements you need; the garden, paddocks, twisted trees and even a buggy to explore around for portraits! We had the best time shooting portraits around the venue, and do you know how many portraits that I ended up with? 283. Because I just couldn’t cut down any further as they are just simply beautiful.
The other thing I would like to say is I felt so sentimental shooting their reception. It moves me when I saw the tears from both parents of the bride, the heartfelt speeches from both of groom’s parents. Honestly, it really made me reflect while editing this gallery. I wish one day I could be able to witness my own children’s wedding, extending my love to their new best friend in life. All of these feelings, thoughts, reflections and passions are what makes me believe why capturing love is my purpose and answer in life. I still have so much to learn and want to grow with this amazing journey and hopefully you can have a glimpse of what I am passionate about along the way.
So today, please be my guest, play the slideshow. Turn on the music and have a feel. I hope you love what you see and what you hear. Because I do.
Stay passionate,
