Jake and Lorraine have decided to tie the knot at the marvellous harbour side in Double Bay. I was honoured and happy to be asked to do the wedding photographer for them. While 2020 wasn’t very kind to couples who planned a normal wedding. An untraditional wedding actually suit them very well. Just like the Lorraine I know!

This wedding was intimate, unique and super simple. There’s no traditional bridal dress, grand table styling or anything close.

All they had were the pure happiness mixed with champagnes, and maybe some sushis afterwards. It’s so simple yet effortless. I remember that Lorraine and I chatted a few days before the big day. She told me that she literally wants nothing more. They just wanted to pull the trigger to add some happiness and fun in this dull year. Apart from that, they really don’t care.

Sometimes we just forget that wedding is all about celebrating the togetherness as who we are and with whom we love. #loveisnotcancelled right?

Let’s just get married the way we want to, laugh the teeth out and dance the heart out. Shall we?
