I am based in Sydney, but also travel worldwide.
My aim is to be in the moment and capture love stories artfully and intentionally. Preserving emotions & focusing on the mood and feel.
You can check out more about my why here.
Last month I had this honour capturing this lovely pair at a such gorgeous location, Cathedral Rocks. It was a cloudy evening, but cloudy day has the best sunset sometimes. That peachy tones was just to die for.
I have shot many engagement sessions at the beaches as I am based in the Eastern Suburbs, Sydney. (10 years in and still love it!) There are many reasons that I love shooting couple sessions at beach, and the main reason is it makes the couples really relaxed. Even those ones who claimed that they are awkward in front of the camera!
I will write about this in another post, but today I just want to share with you the romantic images of these two, Charlotte and James!
Charlotte and James are basically beach baes and based in the Northern Beaches, Sydney. Charlotte is originally from Canada and quite a wanderlust soul as well. Her instagram feed is so beautiful and you should totally follow her instagram! And if you are into surfing or men’s fashion, then check out James’s instagram here.
Another side story here is my 85mm lens was loosen. It’s never happened before, not sure it’s because my toddler sneaked into our office one day and i found my gears all on the floor… (Now the office has a lock installed) I found that it creates a free lensing effect, what a surprise! So if you see some images that are very blurry on the outside, it’s shot on that 85mm lens. (Like this photo right below)
I don’t usually shoot engagements with 85mm, because I love getting close to my couples but I am glad that I gave it a go. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have found these free lensing/telephoto effects with this beautiful accident. Let me know what do you think?
